Refund & Returns Policy
Fit Booking Hub
Effective Date: 21 December 2024
Fit Booking Hub provides booking and scheduling services for fitness sessions. Because bookings reserve instructor time, refunds and cancellations are handled according to the policy below and in line with Stripe payment processing guidelines.
1. 24-Hour Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for:
- a full refund, or
- a free reschedule
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session start time are non-refundable.
This policy ensures fairness to instructors and availability for other clients.
2. Rescheduling
- Sessions may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time at no additional cost.
- Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the session may be treated as a late cancellation and are not eligible for a refund.
3. No-Shows
If a client fails to attend a scheduled session without prior notice (“no-show”), the booking is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
4. Late Arrivals
- Sessions will end at the originally scheduled time to respect subsequent bookings.
- Late arrivals do not qualify for partial refunds, credits, or time extensions.
5. Session Packages (Bundles)
For multi-session packages:
- Packages may expire after [X months] from the purchase date.
- Packages become non-refundable once one session has been used.
- Unused packages may be eligible for a refund within [7 / 14 / 30 days] of purchase, depending on package terms.
6. Memberships & Subscriptions (If Applicable)
- Memberships may be canceled at any time.
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- Partial refunds for active billing periods are not provided, except where required by law.
7. Instructor or Platform Cancellations
If a session is canceled by Fit Booking Hub or the instructor due to unforeseen circumstances, clients may choose:
- a full refund, or
- a free reschedule
8. Refund Method & Processing (Stripe-Compliant)
- All approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
- Refunds are processed through Stripe, our secure payment provider.
- Once processed, refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on the client’s bank or card issuer.
- Cash, bank transfer, or alternative refund methods are not supported.
9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Clients are encouraged to contact Fit Booking Hub before initiating a chargeback.
Unresolved or fraudulent chargebacks may result in:
- booking restrictions, or
- account suspension
Chargebacks are handled in accordance with Stripe dispute resolution procedures.
10. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact [support_email] and include:
- Full name
- Booking date and time
- Instructor name (if applicable)
- Reason for the request
Refund requests are reviewed based on this policy.
